Genetic scientists create freakish man-made monster ants with huge heads and jaws
Nightmarish ‘supersoldier’ ants with huge heads and jaws have been created by activating ancient genes.
Scientists believe the monster ants may be a genetic throwback to an ancestor that lived millions of years ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2082799/Supersoldier-ants-gigantic-jaws.html
Squirrel and T-Rex Get It On
THIS squirrel must’ve been nuts to crack on to a dinosaur.
The amorous critter was caught clutching the plastic T-Rex and trying to force his tongue into its mouth.
Wildlife fan Elliot C Nathan snapped the funny scene in his back garden in Boulder Colorado
after setting up a camera to capture squirrels hunting for food he’d left out.
The animal can also be seen playing with a beer can left on the table ?
which at first glance may explain why he attempted to make the beast with two backs with a plastic partner.
But the animal attraction can be explained by mischievous Elliott, who admits planting a seed in the dinosaur’s mouth
to get his shot.
He explains: “I spent about half an hour getting the squirrel to trust me with seeds then I started putting them onto things.
“He was careful about the dinosaur at first, but finally his hunger got the best of him and he went in for the kiss.”
Only one question remains: is it a lasting love affair or a fling doomed for extinction? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4038429/Squirrel-and-T-Rex-Get-It-On.html
